Matus brings a decade of experience across real estate, property management, hospitality, and construction, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within these industries.
The idea for KResistant was born during a road trips across the US, where he saw firsthand the urgent need for innovation in housing—solutions that prioritize security, affordability, and efficiency, particularly in areas vulnerable to environmental threats.
His passion for engineering and problem-solving runs deep. Growing up in Slovakia, he was heavily influenced by his grandfather, a Soviet-era mining engineer, who introduced him to metalworking, hydraulics, and large-scale mining equipment like hydraulic elevators and boring machines.
These early experiences laid the foundation for his vision: a dynamic home that can adapt to its environment, offering resilience and practicality in an evolving housing market.
By merging his personal experiences, technical knowledge, and industry expertise, Matus is leading KResistant toward redefining the future of housing.
Dominik brings a robust background in structural engineering with a focus on buildings designed to withstand extreme weather conditions.
His knowledge is vital for ensuring the structural integrity and safety of the homes. Dominik is responsible for overseeing the structural viability of the designs, ensuring that all engineering solutions are optimized for safety and compliance with local building standards.
